Since installing the hitch, I've towed a heavy-duty (about 600lbs unloaded) utility trailer hauling two motorcycles and a lot of gear (around 1,250 total trailer weight) a total of around 1,500 miles. The hitch installed quickly and easily and is well built with good instructions. I installed the hitch on my 1994 Toyota Camry LE Coupe with the 4-cylinder engine and 4-speed automatic transmission.
I sent the replacement hitch back, as it's not worth the time and trouble to take this issue any further. I called Amazon Customer Service and they sent me another hitch, also sans draw bar and clip (after I explained to them that parts were missing), this time in a box, but bouncing around with no packaging. I needed the hitch in the next few days for a long trip, so I had no time to return it, and had to borrow a draw bar (a "stinger" by any other name) to get going. I had exactly the same experience as reviewer "SouthBarr" where the hitch arrived on my doorstep without any packaging (just a shipping label stuck to the hitch itself) and no drawbar, pin and clip. The ad clearly states "Includes drawbar, pin and clip, and all frame attachments." This is simply not true (the instructions that came with the hitch specifically say "Draw bar sold separately). Why have I given this hitch a 3 star rating? It's not the hitch, it's the ad and lack of care with how it's shipped.
